Introduction to its Genesis:

The concept was seeded by a pious and holy man Mr. R.L. Hota, Ex-M.L.A. having a godly figure among the inhabitants of Barpali, who has dedicatedly worked for the development of the local peoples of around 50 kilometers radius without any self interest. Mr. R.L. Hota has opened and actively involved in development of secondary level educational Institutions in near periphery of Barpali. Beside that, a lot of industrial units has been setup under his personal supervision for the betterment of local peoples as regards to education and employment.

The society is called as “The Pharmaceutical College, Barpali” and constituted under Societies Act XXI of 1860 bearing no. SBL No. 1442-164 of 1987-1988 on 10th August 1987 with a very noble thoughts to carter the need of the local people who are unattained by Government and other agencies for all the time. The place is the birthplace of the Late genius Poet “ Gangadhar Meher”. All the society members are well qualified and from various professional fields having a vast experience in managing a society truthfully. They are from the fields like Engineering, Medical, Law, humanities and hold respectable post in the Government Agency and retired.

Activities of the Promoting body

Though, the society is registered by the name of the Institute itself, for that, the activity is restricted to the growth and development of this Institution and Pharmacy profession only.

Mission of the Promoting body.
To establish a center of excellence for imparting quality education for health care industry and relevant education to produce professional of full equipped with skills and managerial capabilities to accomplish the objective entrusted upon them.

The educational Programme is governed by the guidance of experienced renowned and renewed academicians. The Institution accords top priority to the placement of graduates in pharmaceutical industries.
